Lascaux Acrylic Adhesive 498 HV is a versatile and proven aqueous adhesive used in both wet and dry applications.

Acrylic Adhesive 498 20-X
Lascaux Acrylkleber 498-20X
Adhesive for strip-linings as well as bondings of textiles, and montage. Contains solvents.*

  • excellent adhesion properties
  • water-resistant when dry.
  • dry film remains tack-free, elastic hard, transparent
  • lightfast and age-resistant
  • non-yellowing
  • dissolves well in acetone, ethanol, toluene, xylene
  • insoluble in white spirit

Application:
  • strip-linings
  • bonding of textiles and montage
Dispersion based on methylmethacrylate and butylacrylate.

Acrylic Adhesive 303 HV
Lascaux Acrylkleber 303 HV
Versatile, extremely elastic contact adhesive.* Suited for heat sealing / doublings. Dry film remains water-resistant, permanently tacky and clear.

Based on a mix of copolymer resins and paraffin.*


For lining of paintings on canvas, with or without interleaf, for mountings of paper or textile, for strip-lining. For facings and for the consolidation of paint layers. For temporary and permanent bondings.
  • activation temperature 62-65 °C
  • acid value below 1
  • colourless when cold, transparent when sealed
  • excellent adhesion properties
  • age-resistant, non-yellowing

Adhesive Wax 443-95
Lascaux Klebewachse 443-95
Compound of microcrystalline wax and a synthetic polyterpene resin. The resin serves as an eslastomer and a tackifying agent. The resin provides excellent adhesion and bond strength, and improves wettability and resistance to humidity.

Polyamide Textile Welding Powder 5350
Lascaux Polyamid-Textil-Schweisspulver
Thermoplastic copolyamide resin with a melting point of 90-100 °C. This hot-melt adhesive is used for textiles and leather, and for tear-mending of paintings on canvas.
Microcrystalline Wax I30
Lascaux Mikrokristalliner Wachs 4195
Wax made from saturated hydrocarbons, obtained from petroleum.
Chemically inert, the microcrystalline structure increases elasticity. Can also be used as a painting medium for encaustic work.
