Initially ridiculed for her colorful "Nanas,"
the French artist Niki de Saint Phalle
(1930 - 2002) became world
famous. Her voluminous "Nanas"
represent cheerful, liberated and
self-confident women.
The "Guardian Angel" was restored in
2006 and 2018 by ARS ARTIS AG
(Petra Helm and Christian Marty) with
the greatest possible care for the
Lascaux colours.
