Lascaux Retarder

Added to acrylics Lascaux Retarder extends open time without
altering the quality or the aspect of the colour. Not suited for works on absorbent substrates or outdoor use.
Video: how to use Lascaux Retarder
- doubles open time
- does not affect the quality and aspect of colours
- only minimal changes to viscosity
- lightfast and age-resistant
- pastose and very economical
Use & application:
- as an additive to acrylic colours on non-absorbent substrates
- only for indoor use
Lascaux Retarder Ultra

Added to acrylics Lascaux Retarder Ultra extends open time sixfold without altering the quality or the aspect of colours.* Not suited for works on absorbent substrates or outdoor use.
- extends open time sixfold
- does not affect quality and aspect of the colour
- only minimal changes to viscosity
- lightfast and age-resistant
- pastose and very economical
Use & application:
- as an addition to acrylic colours on non-absorbent substrates
- only for indoor use
Lascaux Thickener

Lascaux Thickener increases
consistency and viscosity of highly diluted colours, and preserves spreadability.* The thickening effect is displayed only in wet colours.
- increases viscosity of acrylic colours
- conserves the water balance of colours and extends open time
- ensures good brushability for glazes with highly diluted colours and prevents trickling
- colour depth and surface remain unaltered
Use & application:
- for thickening highly diluted colours
- only for indoor use

- for retouching
The viscous, transparent Lascaux mediums allow changing gloss levels as well as increasing the transparency and yield of colours.
Lascaux mediums increase transparency of colours, and they increase the adhesion and film strength of strongly diluted colours. They also improve spreadability. Hue and viscosity remain unaltered. All Lascaux mediums contain pure acrylic dispersion and are therefore extremely lightfast and age-resistant. Lascaux additives increase the scope of colours.
